BFAR 7 Regional Director meets with Prawn Growers and Processors
Singaporean Investors express their interest in setting up a prawn processing plant in the Philippine specifically in Negros Occidental.
The group decided to visit Iloilo, Bacolod and Cebu for a meeting with pertinent officials on July 21-25, 2016.
Singapore has a huge demand of seafood e.g. prawns or shrimps and this is one opportunity for them to not only export the product but also for them to establish operations in the country. Their diligence study also includes other ASEAN countries like Vietnam.
